I nodded politely as my colleague talked in a heated passion about the upcoming changes. Murmurs of both agreement and disagreement rose around the table and I picked up my drink and took a long swig before setting it back down. Another colleague spoke now, contradicting the previous statement and a heated discussion stirred around the table. I tried to listen, but I was getting tired, my eyes getting heavy, and I stifled a yawn as I looked at the clock. I waited for the conversation to die down, the argument ceasing without any actual conclusion, and as people returned to talking amongst themselves, I excused myself, bidding them a good night, and got to my feet.
